Aaron A Davis, DO

Aaron Davis is a board-certified Family Physician and specialist in Maternal & Child Health, as well as an educator, photographer, and writer.

He graduated from the Florida State University with degrees in Anthropology, Biology, and Psychology and later earned his Doctorate from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. 

Dr. Davis completed his internship at Maine-Dartmouth and Maine General Hospital, Family Medicine residency at the University of Kansas at Wesley Medical Center, and fellowship in Maternal & Child Health at Brown University at Women and Infant's Hospital.  He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, and is a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the Wilderness Medicine Society.

He has travelled to six continents providing humanitarian aid, disaster relief, and serving as an expedition physician. Notable work includes living on the Navajo Nation offering full-scope family medicine including pediatrics, obstetrics, and hospital medicine, responding to the earthquake in Haiti and the EF5 tornado in Joplin, Missouri, and serving as the medical officer aboard the Barque Picton Castle in the South Pacific.  He currently is a faculty member for the United States Navy’s Family Medicine Residency at Camp Pendleton in California. He also serves as co-director of the International Primary Care Education Alliance (IPCEA) in Shenzhen, China training primary care specialists. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr. Davis is an active documentary and travel photographer and his photos and articles have appeared in publications, online, and on television including CNN and The Weather Channel. He is an accredited member of the National Press Photographers Association and was Artist In Residence at Opus House.

He served as medical correspondent for KWCH CBS 12 and KSCW CW 12 in Wichita, Kansas.
