”How could one ever be bored with so many good things to see and feel! This unity with our joyous surroundings, this ultra-penetrating perception gave us a feeling of contentment that we had not had for years.” - Yvon Chouinard recounts his first ascent of the Muir wall in 1965.

Today we celebrate President Lincoln’s signing of the Yosemite Grant 150 years ago which laid the groundwork for national parks as we know them today.
