Play

I was helping to look after my Godchildren this weekend (5 and 6 years old) and they sat down to eat lunch around 12:30 pm on Saturday and turned on Nickelodeon to veg out with the programs they like to watch.

Nickelodeon had stopped programming and left up a disconnected service sign that said ‘We have stopped programming so you will play instead of watching TV.  Go outside and play- we’ll turn the shows back on at 3pm.  Go be active. now.’

I’m paraphrasing of course.

Good for you, Nickelodeon.
